Wax, wick, and the slowness of pouring by hand

Wax, wick, and the slowness of pouring by hand — LUĒR hand-poured ritual candles, Swedish coast

A look inside the atelier, small batches, cooled slowly, finished by hand at the kitchen table by the sea.

Every LUĒR candle begins as a slow conversation between coconut wax, Swedish rapeseed, and a temperature that refuses to be rushed. Pour too hot and the surface dimples. Pour too cool and the scent never quite settles.

We pour in small batches at the kitchen table — the window open to the sea, the wax cooling at its own pace. The wick is centered by hand, the surface finished the next morning when the wax has fully set.

Slowness is the only craft secret we have. Everything else is just attention.
