Hi, I'm Matilda.
I created LUĒR from my small shoreline studio on the Swedish coast.
What began as a personal search for calm slowly became a collection of scent rituals inspired by the sea, stillness and the beauty of moving more slowly.
Every vessel is cast, sanded, blended and poured by hand ~ one at a time.

A slow craft.
Our vessels begin as stone and water.
Natural minerals are blended into concrete and poured by hand into moulds, where they are left to cure in their own time.
Once ready, each vessel is sanded by hand, revealing a texture inspired by weathered shoreline stone.
The scents are created from pure essential oils and blended carefully into natural wax.
Every candle is then poured by hand and left to rest before finding its way into the world.
A process guided not by speed, but by patience.

Earth tones gathered from the edge of the sea.
Inspired by coastal stone, sand and weathered driftwood, each vessel is coloured by hand in soft natural tones.
No two are exactly alike.
Small variations in texture and shade are part of what makes each piece unique.
